1971年6月千葉県木更津市に生まれる。1988年HIP HOPに接し、好んで聞くようになる。
DJに未来の音楽的な可能性を感じ、19歳でターンテーブルとミキサーを購入し、
本格的にDJを始める。自身の可能 性を広げ、確かなものにするため上京。
都心のクラブやイベントパーティでDJをするようになる。ミックスや選曲のセンスに
どのクラブのフロアーも沸いた。 そして、DJのサウンドプロデューサーとしての在り方を意識するようになる。 影響を受けたDJは、キッドカプリ、ファンクマスターフレックス、ストレッチアーム ストロング等である。1993年、この頃、東京で一番話題になっていた芝浦のクラブ「GOLD」でHASEBE主催のイベント「FAT RAT」を開催。予想通りの大盛況で、会場は彼のDJで踊る若者であふれた。いつもレコードを購入するレコードショップ「CISCO」渋谷店のすすめで ミックス テープを制作し、初めてのミックステープ「DJ HASEBE #1」が誕生する。これが大評判で、レコード店の要望に応え、続けて「DJ HASEBE #2」を産み出す。そして、彼のミックステープに対する評価を受けて、彼は自身のDJとしての実力を確信した。Busta Rhymesや海外からの有名アーティストの来日にあわせて、イベント会場のオープニングアクトDJをすることが増え、国内の有名アーティストの全国ツ アーのDJも担当するようになる。そのころから音楽業界にも「HASEBE」の名前が響き始める。注目すべき人物としてファッション誌やカルチャー誌には 度々登場。媒体に自身を露出することで、DJという職業への注目度を上げることに貢献。そして、徐々に「HASEBE」の 名前を世間に広めていった。1996年、初のプロデュース作品「アイスピック」を発表。 ラッパーにはZEEBRA、MUMMY-Dをフィーチャリング。 当初アナログのみだったが、後にCD化される。 同時にミックステープ「DJ HASEBE #3」を制作。そんな折り、大きな流れがHASEBEにやってくる。Sugar SoulのAIKOとの出会いである。それは奇しくも2pacが亡くなった日であった。 最初は「 Sugar Soul 」という企画ユニットへのDJとしての参加だった。そこで初めて、Sugar Soulのミニアルバム「Those Days」に収録されるHASEBEプロデュース の「今すぐ欲しい」が産まれる。 直ぐさま自身のミックステープ「DJ HASEBE #4」 がAIKOの参加で作られた。まだ、いわゆる歌謡曲、POPSがヒットの大半を占めていた日本の中で、「これが日本のスタンダードになる」とHASEBE は予告していた。しかし、これには当時の誰もが疑問を投げかけていた。だが、これが現実となる。「今すぐ欲しい」は当時20,000枚のアナログ盤ヒット。CDも驚異のロングランでセールスが伸び続けた。そして、HASEBE名義のミニアルバム「adore」をリリース。 各方面からリミックスやプロデュースのオファーが相次ぐ。 手掛けたアーティストのディスクについて、特にアナログに関してはプロモーションとしての役割を超越し、10,000枚以上のセールスが確約された。ま た、1997年4月より2000年12月までレギュラーのクラブイベントとして今となっては伝説のパーティー「honey dip」を「渋谷HARLEM」にてDJWATARAIらとともに毎週火曜日に開催。平日にもかかわらず、週末並みの集客を誇り、様々なアーティストにプ ロモーションライブの場として活用されるようになっていった。そのタイミングでのオリジナルアルバムとして2001年にはビズ・マーキーからモス・デフ、 ダグE・フレッシュ、レ・ニュビアン、ラーゼル、ロニー・ジョーダン、ビーニ・マン、オマーなどをフィーチュアした「 Hey World! 」をリリース。このアルバムはヨーロッパ数カ国でも発売された。2002年の作品「Old nick Radio show」より、「Old nick」という新名義でもブレイクビーツ、アブストラクトを中心にした進化したトラックミュージックをも世界に向けて発信し続けている。過去彼のアルバ ムはヨーロッパとアジアなど、16カ国以上で流通している。そして今、彼は常にネクストレベルの自分の姿を思い描いて、それに向かって挑戦を続けている・・・。

The mixtape is always produced in encouraging record shop “CISCO” Shibuya branch that buys the record, and first mixtape “DJ HASEBE #1″ is born. This is very famous, and production begins to see “DJ HASEBE #2″ continuously in compliance with the demand of the record shop. It is made to CD back though it is only an analogue at first. Mixtape “DJ HASEBE #3″ is produced at the same time. Such fold and a big flow come to HASEBE. It is meeting AIKO of Sugar Soul. It was a day when 2pac had died miraculously. It was participation in the project unit of ” Sugar Soul ” as DJ first. Then, “It is right now desirous” of the HASEBE production collected to mini album “Those Days” of Sugar Soul is born for the first time. Mixtape “DJ HASEBE #4″ soon was made from the participation of AIKO.
